Trail Description

Short woodland walk beside the Pollaphuca Resvoir built in 1942 to generate electricity and supply water to Dublin. Grey-lag geese, many species of duck.

Trail Comments

We did this walk the other day. Lovely spot, perfect for a picnic first. We did the short 2km route as suggested by Joss Lynam. Note that the ash tree referred to by him is no longer there. Turn right at the stream about 200-300 metres in and follow the stream all the way back to the start. There is also a 6km route marked and a map at the site.
