This looped walk begins at Portlaw Heritage Centre, Malcomson square, Portlaw, County Waterford. This walk is partly urban through the historic industrial model village of Portlaw and brings you through a country road, known locally as Cleary's bóithrín, passing the ruins of Milford House. Milford (Milfort) House was once owned by the Malcomson family who ran the famous Cotton Mill in Portlaw during the 19th century. On exiting the bóithrín you turn left, passing the estate entrance to Curraghmore and along factory road into Malcomson square, Portlaw.
