Pedestrian amble along the waters' edge. The intricacies of the reservoir's waterworks hold the attention. The return is predominantly road-walking, quite hilly and hardly very enticing. The stroll past St. Anns well & cementry back to the shore sparks some interest at the tail end. Still, there's better walks than this!

How long did it take?

Hello InsideMan - 2 hrs at a brisk pace did the trick. You'll walk along the lake-shore path on the banks of the 2 reservoirs in 30 mins or so which is pleasant but relatively short. At which point, you can loop around on the far bank and return to the starting point at the head of the lakes. That would make it an hour round-trip. As I was looking for something a bit more substantial, I went off pounding the pavement, which does extent the trip but it doesn't make for an enjoyable hike!
